A case of infantile cortical hyperostosis in a 4-month-old child is reported, with involvement
of the mandible and left ulna. 2. Following the administration of corticotropin there was a
rapid improvement in clinical signs, with later return of the laboratory studies to normal. X-
rays of the involved bones showed no changes in the lesions one month after treatment, but
were normal four months after treatment.
